From the video that I’ve just
watched, my understanding of it is mainly the introduction of PuXian
Buddha. It made me google of PuXian Buddha who is also known as
Samantabhadra. She is associated with love, virtue, diligent training and
patience. She is one of the 4 great Bodhisattvas whose qualities make up
the Buddha’s Essence – PuXian(great conduct) Kuan Shih Yin (compassion),
Manjusri (wisdom) and Ti Tsang (earth treasury)
Images
of PuXian show her seated on a white elephant with 6 tusks. One of her
legs crossed and the other hangs down (I didn’t manage to catch the meaning
here). It’s common to see Samantabhadra holding a lotus, wish-fulfilling jewel
or a scroll bearing his sutra. PuXian is well known of her limitless
offerings to the Buddhas as well as her 10 great Vows which are directed
towards benefiting sentient beings. The 10 great vows origin from Hua Yanjing
She
also teaches that wisdom is only present if it benefits everyone. If we have
the energy and determination, there’s an outcome to all issues. We should
practice the teachings of PuXian and believe it’ll lead us towards Buddhahood.
There
is also a mention of the 4 deep heart convictions. However, I did not
manage to catch the meanings but only these words.
1.
Recite scripts / Mind
2.
Jingjin Heart
3.
Centerin
4.
Huixin - Continuous
Every
Experience Is A Learning.
“I
am willing to use the sage of the sages, and I am deeply convinced that I am
always honoured by the company” translated as I am willing to learn the wisdom
from the wise one and I am convinced that I am bless by it.
【Main points can be kept as our notes. It is important to make one of
the teachings become alive daily. Love to hear from your experiences!】
