After watching the fifth video teaching by Venerable, I learned
that we as Dharma practitioner should avoid doing the bad things or take
advantage on people or your friend. For example, I should stop
asking discount or barging for the cheaper price especially when I buying
things from the retail shop or in the market. Another area I should
do is to not take advantage on the weaker person or any business that not fair
to them. I should act fair to people or staff working with me. For
my family, I should take good care of my family especially my children by
providing them good education, food and the support their day to day live. The
most important is to change my behavior toward other people which I will add
fair and will not take advantage of other for my own benefit. I will help
people willingly without any reservation and with compassionate heart. I should
cultivate for good merit and this will reduce bad karma. By helping
people with your sincere or compassionate heart, it will help you in your
Dharma practice and help you to change your attitude toward any people. You
will be a living Buddha or you’ve the Buddha in you.
